In the fifth quarterfinal game, he faced Andrew Ceppos and Ariella Goldstein. He gave twenty correct responses and only one wrong response. Everyone got Final correct and they all advanced to the semifinals.
In the third semifinal game, he faced Erica Greil and Mark Petterson. He gave twenty-one correct responses (including two DDs) and three wrong responses. He was the only player correct in Final and advanced to the Finals.
In the finals, he faced Eric Betts and Laura Myers. In game one, he gave seventeen right responses (including one DD) and two wrong responses. Everyone got Final correct and he wagered $6,000. In game two, he gave twenty-two correct responses (including two DDs) and six wrong responses. Laura was the only player correct in Final; however, Patrick's lead going into Final made him the $100,000 champion.
Tournament of Champions[]
In the first quarterfinal game, he faced 4-day champion Ryan Chaffee and 5-day champion Liz Murphy. He gave ten correct responses and five wrong responses. He was the only player correct in Final; however, Liz's runaway made her an automatic semifinalist. Neither he nor Ryan scored high enough, taking home $5,000.
