Penn & Teller: Fool Us based on the short-lived British reality show of the same name is a one-hour reality competition series celebrating magic and featuring the legendary duo of Penn & Teller.
Premise[]
Aspiring magicians are invited to perform their best tricks to try and fool the world-famous team of Penn & Teller. Anyone who succeeds wins the rights to perform with Penn & Teller in their celebrated show at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The live studio audience and the TV audience watch along with Penn & Teller as they try to figure out the secrets. Penn and Teller see the trick only once and have to immediately work It out. The live studio audience knows that there are no camera cuts as this is all real magic.
International Versions[]
- The original Penn & Teller: Fool Us aired on ITV1 in 2011.
- A Ukrainian version will air on STB in the future.
- In 2012, the series was licensed on Israel's Channel 2 under the title Mi Yapil Et Ha Master (Who Can Fool the Master?)additionally, Penn & Teller were asked to be the judging magicians but they had to refuse because of other commitments as Max Maven took their place.
International Broadcast[]
The Original British version has been seen In Australia and New Zealand. In addition, other countries have been sold by BBC Entertainment in Scandinavia, Africa and Latin America but no date has yet been announced.
