This documentary film explores how Slauson became adept at memorizing prices of prizes and products on the show from its inception in 1972, culminating in him helping a contestant (Terry Kniess) bid perfectly on a Showcase in 2008 - which resulted in one of the biggest controversies in game show history that was covered in Time Magazine, Esquire, TMZ, and more.

On May 5, 2025, Slauson appeared on local channel KSAZ-TV/FOX 10 in Phoenix, Arizona as he was being interviewed by news anchor Ellen McNamara for the segment called The Curious B with Ellen McNamara[1][2] where he talks about the scandal, his love for the game show and the huge major differences between former host (the late) Bob Barker and current host Drew Carey.
