Phyllis Ada Driver (b. July 17, 1917 – d. August 20, 2012), better known as Phyllis Diller, was an American actress and stand-up comedienne, best known for her eccentric stage persona, her self-deprecating humor, her wild hair and clothes, and her exaggerated, cackling laugh. By the late 90s, Diller's health deteriorated. Then, on August 20, 2012, she died at the age of 95. She is survived by her six children.
