Pure Insanity! was a two-episode special that featured six residents from two towns competing to do the craziest stunts for a cash prize of $15,000.

Gameplay[]

Members of the team were selected by Disc Jockeys (DJ's) from one of two towns. Some of the people on the show included steer-manure drivers, human darts, a human wrecking ball, people who let tarantulas crawl over their bodies, people who fished with their mouths, and two guys dressed as chicken and rabbit fighting each other with bats while covered with prune-filled balloons. The winning team received $2,500 for the charity of their choice and the individual performing the craziest stunts collected $15,000.

Trivia[]

The first program featured teams representing Anchorage, Alaska and Honolulu, Hawaii with the Alaskan team being the champions. The second and final special featured teams representing Boston, Massachusetts and Austin, Texas with the Austin team being the champions.

Judges from the first special were baseball umpires from the Pearl City Umpires Associates while the second special featured judges who were members of the Royal Air Force.

Caroline Schlitt, one of the hosts of the program was the first host of USA's Up All Night movie block before being replaced by Rhonda Shear.
