Rock Star (also known as Rock Star: INXS and later Rock Star: Supernova) was a rock and roll challenge reality competition show where up and coming performers compete to be the lead singer of a famous rock and roll band in which one contestant is eliminated each week.

Season 1[]

Season one focused on finding a lead singer for INXS to replace former lead singer Michael Hutchence.

Season 2[]

Season two focused on finding a lead singer for supergroup Rock Star Supernova, featuring Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, former Metallica and current Voivod bassist Jason Newsted and former Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke.
