Regular-season play[]

She appeared under Nicolle Neulest in her regular run. She made her debut on August 13, 2021 (Season 37 Finale) against 17-day champion Matt Amodio and Eric Shi. Throughout the first two rounds, she came up with 22/24 correct responses (including 1/2 Daily Doubles). She had exactly half of Matt's score going into Final Jeopardy. She and Eric got Final incorrect, but after losing to Matt, Eric received $2,000 and Nicolle received $1,000.

Second Chance Group 2[]

In the third and final semifinal game, Rowan faced off against Nikkee Porcaro and Do Park. Throughout the first two rounds of the game, Rowan came up with 30/34 correct questions (including 2/2 Daily Doubles). Rowan was the only player who got Final Jeopardy! correct, and thanks to a runaway game, they advanced to the finals, while Do received $2,000 for second place, and Nikkee received $1,000 for third place.

In the two-game total-point affair, Rowan faced off against Jack Weller and Sadie Goldberger. Throughout the first two rounds of two games, Rowan came up with 64/71 correct questions (including 3/4 Daily Doubles). Rowan and Sadie came up with 1/2 correct Final Jeopardy! questions, and with a final two-game total of $37,799, Rowan won the $35,000 grand prize and a spot in the Tournament of Champions, while Sadie received $20,000 for second place, and Jack received $10,000 for third place.

Tournament of Champions[]

In the fourth quarterfinal game, Rowan faced off against Courtney Shah and John Focht. Throughout the first two rounds of the game, Rowan came up with 17/19 correct questions (including 1/1 Daily Double). Nobody got Final Jeopardy! correct, but after losing to John (in a runaway game), Courtney and Rowan received $5,000 each.

Trivia[]

  • They is the first ToC entrant from non-binary[1], and a participant who appeared in ToC after changing their name[2].
  • As they won the SCT, it became the first case that all three people who competed together advanced. Also, with Jessica Stephens competing against Matt Amodio winning the SCT, it became the first case of three people competing together in ToC. However, all three players failed to make it through the Quarterfinal, and as Matt, who was a strong candidate for the championship, was caught by Sam, S37 became a season in which not a single player, following S21 and S28, advanced to the ToC finals. Additionally, Matt's former champion and CWC winner, Josh Saak, also received the same result in ToC.
