Sandblast was the beach-themed game show that lasted two years on MTV.
Premise[]
There were teams of two people that competed in crazy beach-themed games to win points for their teams. Some of the events included:
- Hose Hockey – A member of each team was sprayed with water from a hose by a member of the opposing team while trying to paddle into a goal.
- Sand Slam – This was a 30-second round whee each team attempted to slam dunk baskets into a slowly rising net.
- Dunk This – The teams challenged each other to see who could slam dunk the highest basket.
Each show featured five events plus the final round, Crash Course, and the team with the most points at the end of the game was the winner.
