Simu Liu (/ˈsimu ˈlijuː/ SEE-moo LEE-ew; Chinese: 刘思慕; born 19 April 1989) is a Canadian actor. He is known for portraying Shang-Chi in the 2021 Marvel Cinematic Universe film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. He also played Jung Kim in the CBC Television sitcom Kim's Convenience and received nominations at the ACTRA Awards and Canadian Screen Awards for his work in Blood and Water.

In 2022, Liu authored the memoir We Were Dreamers, and was named one of Time's 100 most influential people in the world.

He was the only player correct in Final and after a come from behind win, he advanced to the semifinals. Ego and Andy won $30,000 for their charities.

In the first semifinal game, he went up against Ike Barinholtz and Iliza Shlesinger. Throughout the first three rounds, he came up with 24/28 correct responses (including 0/3 Daily Doubles). He and Ike got Final correct, but after losing to Ike, he and Iliza won $50,000 for their charities.
