Steampipe Alley was a wild kids variety/game show for the New York area. This was also shown on the national feed the channel had at the time.

Games[]

  • Mystery Guest – similar to What's My Line? where the contestants ask yes or no questions about a mystery guest
  • Eye in the Stuffing – the contestant must find an eye in a large pan of stuffing.
  • Brain Drain – a quiz game usually played before the obstacle course. Contestants have one minute to answer questions correctly. Highest score wins the game and advances to the obstacle course.
  • Obstacle Course – usually the last game played in the episode where the contestant goes through some crazy obstacles and challenges. This game was also timed at one minute.

Lyrics[]

Everything's waiting for you!

Crazy and different and new!

Come break away

Come spend the day

In Steampipe Alley!

Woo hoo hoo!

Knockin' ya right on your rear

Sprintin' from right off the ear

It's skippin' hot

Come take a shot

We're gonna show ya what we got

In Steampipe Alley,

In Steampipe Alley!
