Supermarket Superstar (not to be related with Supermarket Sweep although that has also aired on Lifetime as well as this show) was a short-lived series featuring amateur food makers creating & presenting food products in an attempt to please supermarket customers and putting their items on supermarket shelves.
Premise[]
The series pits food entrepreneurs against each other competing for a chance to win $100,000 in prize money as well as $100,000 worth of product development from DINE Marketing and Mattson. The series finale will pit three previous winners against each other competing for a chance to have their product launched and marketed through The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P) family of supermarkets.
