Superstars of Dance was a short-lived breathtaking international dance competition where it pits the masters of various dance genres from eight different countries against each other.
Premise[]
The show features a group, a duet and two soloists from each of eight countries: Argentina, Spain, China, India, Ireland, Russia, South Africa and the USA. They perform professionally as dancers full-time and several are world champions or have otherwise achived the highest score available in their respective genres. Many of the contestants took time off their world tours in order to participate.

The show was created by Nigel Lythgoe and Simon Fuller, co-producers of the hit FOX reality shows So You Think You Can Dance and American Idol.
Host Michael Flatley is best known for popularizing a 1990s Broadway dance show called Lord of the Dance.
Co-host Susie Castillo was a former Miss Teen USA in 1998, Miss USA title holder in 2003 and Miss Universe Top 15 holder also in 2003.
