The Big D was a short-lived reality relationship series that sends six divorcees to paradise in order to help them move on from their marriages and dive back into the dating pool.
Premise[]
Over the course of several weeks, six divorced couples move into a tropical villa in Costa Rica together to re-learn how to date while looking for love with the other contestants in the house. But these newly-singles aren't doing it alone. They're joined by...their ex! The group takes part in revealing relationship ex-ercises designed to help the singles form connections, make peace with their former partners and finally get over their issues holding them back from dating. Each episode, one person who isn't relationship material is eliminated. Jealous exes may try to send their rival home or perhaps even defend their exes' honor, the possibilities are endless. The couple who ends the season in a committed relationship will be awarded $50,000.
