The Maryland State Lottery Game was a weekly lottery game show for the Maryland State Lottery.
Gameplay[]
The game was played with six contestants divided into pairs and seated in colored sections (red, white & blue). It was played one section at a time and at each, the two contestants selected an envelope from a rack. Each one contained a dollar amount. Whatever amount each contestant pulled became his/her base amount. Now the players faced a game board of 12 letters (A-K). Each contestant got three picks off the board, with the first picks on the top row and the remaining picks can be anywhere on the board. Behind each number was a dollar amount. Whatever amount was revealed was added to their scores. The player on each pair with the most money went on to the Big Money Game at the end.
Big Money[]
The three finalists stood between two wheels. The wheel on the left had colors red, white & blue; each corresponding to each finalist. The wheel on the right was the Big Money Wheel with amounts ranging from $50,000 to the top prize of $125,000.
To start, the white winner started the two wheels one by one with a push of a button. Then the blue winner stopped the Big Money wheel by pulling a lever and then the red winner stopped the color wheel also by pulling a lever. Where the ball landed on each wheel determined the outcome. The player whose color was landed on, received the money amount landed on.
