The Next Best Thing: Who is The Greatest Celebrity Impersonator? (or simply The Next Best Thing) was a short-lived reality series where celebrity impersonators competed for $100,000.
Premise[]
In each episode, a panel of three judges (Jeffrey Ross, Elon Gould, and Lisa Ann Walter) would evaluate, critique, and sometimes skewer celebrity impersonators based on how much they looked, sounded, and acted like the celebrities they were impersonating.
The judges determined who would go on to compete in the next round of auditions. Viewer votes determined the final winning impersonator, who received a grand prize of $100,000.

Trivia[]
- The 10 finalists included two Elvis Presley impersonators. To avoid confusion, they were named "Blue Suede Elvis" (Donny Edwards) and "Heartbreak Elvis" (Trent Carlini) after the songs "Blue Suede Shoes" and "Heartbreak Hotel".
- Singer Little Richard appeared as a surprise guest in the last episode.
