The Price is Right: The Barker Era is a Pluto TV channel (#163) that airs episodes of The Price is Right hosted by Bob Barker. The channel launched on December 1, 2020 with episodes from Season 11 (1982-83). Episodes from Season 1 (1972-1973), Season 12 (1983-84), Season 13 (1984-85), and Season 14 (1985-1986) were later added.
Trivia[]
- The first episode aired by the channel was the September 15, 1982 show (#4583D).
- Episodes are shown with no edits aside from removing the ticket plugs, presumably since the address is no longer used for ticket requests. This practice extended to Home Viewer Showcases and The Phone Home Game episodes featuring them.
- The channel's icon, a Plinko chip, is shown onscreen during each episode in about the same position the CBS Eye graphic would be displayed during the 1990s and 2000s.
- Following Bob Barker's passing on August 26, 2023, the channel started showing episodes from the first season, minus episodes with fur coats.
