The Will features a wealthy Patriarch named Bill Long oversees a competition among several of his would-be heirs to give away a significant portion of his estate of a large ranch in Kansas in this ill-fated one-episode reality series.
Gameplay[]
Bill Long, a wealthy land developer and rancher is putting his most beloved possession, a large ranch in Kansas up for grabs as his family and friends competed in both physical and mental challenges to win rewards and starve off elimination. The last person standing will claim the title of most deserving heir and wins the ranch all by him or herself.
Trivia[]
- The show is created and produced by Mike Fleiss who is also credited from creating the hit ABC reality dating show The Bachelor.
- Although it was initially reported that the five remaining episodes could appear on an American cable network, they eventually did air on the Fox Reality Channel not long afterwards and all six episodes aired in New Zealand beginning in December 2005.
- In the final episode, Bill's wife Penny Long (widely seen as the show's villain) became the overall winner.
