USA Gonzo Games was a weekly first-run, short-lived cable game show featuring contestants who were tested for endurance by participating in embarrassing stunts.
Premise[]
Some of the stunts included having contestants hold fifteen-pound torches up as long as they could and having contestants try to hold their balance while standing on a board over a pool as the hoses sprayed water at them to knock them into the water.
Five players competed in the first round with the top-two players moving to the second round. The winner of the day received a trip.
Stunts[]
Bungee Cord Pull - Contestants, wearing their swim suites and hooked up to bungee cords, would have to pull them selves across a slide , using had grip straps, while water was sprayed in their faces and try to grab or place an item at the end of the slide. The contestant that got the most items won.
Note: This event like many of the events that appeared on this show, appears to have inspired the bungee cord temple games, from Legends of the Hidden Temple, in this case from the first season , the bungee soap ramp and slide, which would be filmed a year later at universal studios Florida. Both events force the contestants to pull them self's with strap hand grips up or across a slid while hindered by a bungee cord. The main differences is that soap was used instead of water.
