Universal Studios Hollywood is a theme park and real-life working television and movie production studio. The production studio opened on April 30, 1912, while the studio lot opened on March 15, 1915, and the theme park opened on July 15, 1964. Although many movies and television shows were taped and filmed here, it also had some game shows taped as well. Universal Studios Hollywood is the sister of the other studios in Orlando, Florida, Singapore, and Japan.
