Vicki Lawrence (born Vicki Ann Axelrad, March 26, 1949, in Inglewood, California) (also known as Vicki Lawrence-Schultz) is an American comic actress & TV personality, best known for her work on The Carol Burnett Show and Mama's Family.
Besides being a celebrity guest on several game shows, including Match Game and Pyramid, Lawrence was the host of the NBC daytime version of Win, Lose or Draw and was the host of her own syndicated daytime talk show. In one episode of Mama's Family, her character, "Mama" Thelma Harper, was a contestant on Family Feud, and later she was a contestant on Jeopardy!. She also did a salute to game shows in an episode of her syndicated daytime talk show. Vicki also appeared as Mama in a special celebrity week of Password Plus in 1980. Vicki later appeared on the Disney Channel sitcom, Hannah Montana as Miley's/Hannah's grandma, Ruthie "Mamaw" Stewart.
At one time, she had a hand in a singing career with her only hit song called The Night the Lights went Out in Georgia.
