Premiere week. Each episode aired at 10:30 A.M. E/9:30 A.M. P/M/C for only 18 minutes without commercials; the rest of the timeslot was devoted to a 5-minute newscast with Douglas Edwards. Love of Life moved to 4:00 P.M. E/3:00 P.M. P/M/C and Match Game '7X ended up getting axed with close to four weeks of episodes being unaired. As what may have been something of a test run to make sure things would go smoothly for future tapings, the Monday show was taped on April 21 and the rest of the week was taped the following day. Annie is future actress/comedienne Julie Brown, best known as the host of Just Say Julie. On Tuesday, Tom no longer has his Sony ECM 51 that he had in the premiere and Pilot episodes. Laugh track added for bloopers. Timer for the Gauntlet now green and centered instead of in the bottom-right corner. Beginning with the Wednesday show, there is now canned applause at the first second of the opening animated sequence. Bruce on Thursday is from England. By Friday, the bell SFX for correct bloopers changed. Buzzr skipped #A-003D but the studio master of this episode was uploaded to Wink Martindale's YouTube channel.
