An unsold pilot with word-based puzzles.

Gameplay[]

Three contestants play a series of word games challenging their minds and reflexes.

Main Game[]

Round 1 (Scramble)[]

A series of scrambled words were presented to the players and the players buzz-in to guess what the words are. The first group of words are four letters long, the second group has five letters, then six and finally seven. Each letter in the answer is worth $50. So here's how the players score:

Word Length Payoff
4 Letters $200
5 Letters $250
6 Letters $300
7 Letters $350

Round 2 (Out of this Word)[]

The contestants were presented a series of words called "master words". The object of the round is to make a series of words using letters from the "master word". Each word must be at least three letters long. Any repeats, unacceptable words or expiration of time results in elimination from the word. Each letter is worth $100 with a $200 bonus awarded to the player who can make the longest word. Three "master words" were played and the player with the lowest score was eliminated from the competition.

Round 3 (Crossword)[]

Play the same as Wheel of Fortune's Toss-Up Puzzles & Scrabble's Speedword. The two remaining contestants were shown crossword clues, followed by a series of blank spaces representing letters that make up the answer to the clue. The letters were revealed one at a time and the first player to buzz-in has a chance to guess the correct word. Each correct answer is worth $250 times the number of spaces unrevealed. The player with the most money at the end of this round won the game, kept the cash and went on to play for $100,000.

The $100,000 Bonus Round (Word Find Puzzle)[]

The winning contestant was faced with five wordsearch puzzles. Each grid contains a prize which is won if found. To find the prize word, the contestant touched letters of the word on a screen in the contestant's desk. After winning each prize, the contestant must make a decision: either keep the prizes and the main game money or risk losing it all and go to the next grid. If the winning contestant can find all five prize words, he/she wins $100,000.
